Propellernet have been on a real adventure with us. From productivity sessions, strategy workshops to mind mapping and thinking clubs, they have really embraced what they call their Propellernet Academy.
We began working with the team in 2010 delivering the Accelerated Productivity programme to the client services team. They said it was the best thing they had done all year so we came back and showed the rest of the team the same tools. Now Accelerated Productivity is required learning for all new recruits and forms their standard practice for working individually and in teams.
We have great relationship with the management team who asked us what else we could do. We designed a personalised Propellernet adventure conjuring up workshops on creative thinking, story telling, mind mapping and project management the Propellernet way. At least we tried to do the latter, but we discovered that despite being brilliant and award winning and highly sought after, Propellernet couldn’t put their finger on exactly how they did what they did. They knew SEO inside out: they invented Authentic Search, but found it hard to articulate exactly where it began or where it ended, or how best to capture their brilliant sparks of insight and turn them into constant flames of innovation.
So we started another journey, mapping products, which lead us to map the entire core service, which lead us to discover a whole range of new products that complement what they can offer their clients. Together we worked out how build an innovation function that did not interfere with their live offer, but allowed their people to identify, develop and test their ideas: confident they would be listened to and supported.
